A few Feng Shui points when purchase a house

In modern society, most of the people, when finance allows, will choose to purchase a house to settle down. Without a house, there is no peace. Chinese saying goes like that: people has constant property, then they have constant determination. there are Feng Shui points to be noticed when you select your house. To follow the Tao, you can have a good family with luck, prosperity, fortunes, and adding of family members.

Here are some Feng Shui points to be noted:

A good house is a house with properous positioning.

When judging Feng Shui positioning of a house, we consider time, space, and people.the first house (condo), it is a upright and foursquare house.

However, the elevator is on the right side of the house gate, this commits a evil of white tiger mouth opening. The left side of the house gate is staircase, in front facing a gate of other house. There are too many evils attacking so there are too much to do to counter attack those evils.The house gate facing those evil spirits (especially the house gate facing northwest that is a evil direction when house general direction is sitting North facing South in this case is so as well). The right east direction is also evil direction too, the beds in both two bedrooms are on the east direction. This is hard to arrange couter attacking those evils. Plus the kitchen is in the centre point of the house, another unfavorable element of this layout.

House gate is the face of a family and also a separation between internal life and social life.

A house is normally stands on the ground. The air flow in from the gate so the gate is just like the mouth or nose of a person. It is where we take food and breathe the oxygen. Gate is also like that, the direction of your gate is the direction your family inhales so it is important if this direction is right. You need to analyze if it is lucky, unlucky, flourishing or declining.

It is all important to design your gate toward your house and the doors to each and every of your rooms. You need to select the right size according to the size of the house, the room, the person live there. It is not right if they are too big or too small. The size of your gate or your doors is important. If the house is big and the gate is small, it closes the air and generate diseases. If the house is small and the gate is big, the gate would emit air then your fortune may also emitted. Therefore, it is important to be properly proportional between the size of the house and the size of the gate so that you can live in harmony to enjoy the health and fortune.

Once the gate is established, there will be corridor following. In Feng Shui, there are also a few points to be noted when you consider the corridor:   

1. You should avoid too many corridors and also avoid corridor too long. Especially, you should not build your corridor throughout the whole house to cut is in halves. This is a situation that may lead to the collapse of the whole family. More practically speaking, it also wastes the space of your house.
2. Corridor design should be easy, smooth and mellifluous. You should not design your corridor to pass through one room to another, neither should you design it in round and round pattern. It is not a good corridor design if you design it in U shape, this is considered as going back that makes house unlucky.
3. By the end of your corridor, you should not design a bathroom to recept such ending with face upright toward your corridor. Bathroom is a place to wash out dirt and excrete waste so that is is considered a place of evil. The filthy gas coming out from the evil place and directly travel through your corridor to spread over your whole house will pollute the luck of your family.

The relations between doors

In Feng Shui, the main gate is the place for the house to breathe. Therefore, you need make the gate site clear. If there are things block the passage of a gate, the air circulation and energy circulation will be blocked as well.  In addition, the gate of a house has some relations with other doors within the house:

1. Your main gate of the house should not face upright to the door of your bathroom. It is believed that the main gate intakes clear air and clean energy and the bathroom is a place for the treatment of filthy excretions. Therefore, it would create a situation for the  clear air and clean energy intakes to meet directly with the filthy air and dirty energy. If it is a necessary for a practical design for the purpose of efficiency or space saving, you need to place something between those two such as a screen, or a cabinet
2. You should avoid to design your bedroom to face directly toward the main gate of the house. A bedroom is a place for rest and privacy so that it would create a situation that the outside energy field to directly attack the internal resting environment so makes people restless and anxious. It is unlucky in term of Feng Shui.
3. Your kitchen can set besides your main gate, but it is not recommended to set your kitchen door directly facing your main gate. In Feng Shui, kitchen is where fortune gathers. If your kitchen face directly toward the main gate, it may cause your fortune leakage outward. In such situation, your income would be affected as you may have many ways to lose it.
4. Your bedroom door should not face directly toward kitchen door. In Feng Shui, kitchen is where you prepare your daily meal so the place is full of heat, smoke, oily gas. Those are the filthy energy that affect people’s health both mental health and physical health. Plus, your kitchen cooking is in relation to fire. Fire makes people unrest. Direct facing kitchen door makes people restless, nightmare may come often that affect people’s luck during the night and next day.
5. Your storage door should be kept closed and you should avoid it face directly toward your bedroom door. In Feng Shui, the air and energy is static and stopped with  no circulation so it is harmful toward people. To live needs circulation, you take in and give out, it is a circulation. You don’t want your air and energy stored somewhere with no motion or movement. In Feng Shui, it is evil.
6. The kitchen door should not face bathroom door, this I have talked in my other articles.

What you should see when you open your gate?

1. It is lucky if you see red when you open your door. It doesn’t matter if you see red wall, red furniture, red ornament, or even red posters. Red stimulates people. You need stimulation when you open your door as you open your door to inhale and give out energetic things.
2. It is lucky if you see greens when you open your door. It can be a green plant, or a green paintings. Green represents life, growth, prosperity.
3. It is lucky if you see paintings. No matter if it is a painting of mountains and rivers, or still life paintings. They are all good. A picture is better than thousand of words. It gives you luck if your painting is about something that is positive.

What you should not see when you open your gate?

1. You should not see bathroom when you open your gate (we’ve talked about it before)
2. You should not see mirrors when you open your door as your fortune air and energy would relected out. Mirrors used to attach front evil are excepted.
3. You should not see your kitchen when you open your gate as when you open to see the kitchen where the fortune gathers, the fortune may easily consumed.
4. It is unlucky if you see main beams. The beams give you pressure, when you open your gate every day, you got pressed. This will hinder your progress in your career or your business development.
